23rd Doncaster (Owston) Scout Group is a volunteer-led youth organisation providing structured Scouting programmes for young people aged 4–14 in the Carcroft and Owston area. We deliver weekly sessions across Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, focusing on outdoor activities, skills development, teamwork and personal growth. Our programme is designed to build confidence, resilience and life skills, helping young people become active and responsible members of their community. The group is run entirely by local volunteers and supported by a trustee board, with a strong emphasis on inclusion, safeguarding and community engagement.

Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice

Bluebell Wood offers care for babies, children and young people in South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes. Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much, much more. It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising activity is to take the fear out of ageing by empowering and supporting older people (55+) to live and age well. Central Action Group are voluntary led group that works in partnership with the Central family Hub owned by Doncaster Council. We are self governed by a very experienced group of volunteers. Based at the Sandalwood Centre, we also support family members to have respite as they know their loved one is safe and welcoming space whilst they take time for themselves. Staff and volunteers support people with doing activities, with having refreshments and to give extra one to one support when needed. 

MHA Communities

The Reader is developing Shared Reading groups in Doncaster, bringing adults together to read and listen to great stories and poems and talk about them. They use these stories and poems to help people connect and share experiences.

Together Housing Group - Harrogate Court

Together Housing Group is a non-profit housing organisation. Harrogate Court is a retirement living scheme for the over 55's, in addition, it has recently also become an extra care scheme. We have an onsite café, hairdressers and a little shop which stocks basics. At Harrogate Court we enjoy hosting multiple activities  and clubs throughout the week.
